A two-component smoothing compound. For use with Screedmaster 2 latex gauging liquid.
Uses
For the levelling and smoothing of sound, uneven floors prior to laying decorative floor coverings.
Approximate Coverage
23kg powder mixed with 5 litres Screedmaster 2 Latex will cover 5m² at 3mm thickness.

2 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

The grain size distribution of Silica Sand means that it is not hazardous. However, any respirable Crystalline Silica dust generated by
processing and handling of Silica Sand may cause health effects. (EH40 Long Term Exposure Limit for Silica, respirable crystalline is 0.3
mg.m3).

4 FIRST-AID MEASURES
INHALATION
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention if any
discomfort continues.
INGESTION
DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
SKIN CONTACT
Promptly flush contaminated skin with water. Promptly remove clothing if soaked through and flush the skin with water. Get medical
attention if irritation persists after washing.
EYE CONTACT
Rinse the eye with water immediately. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Use fire-extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials.

11 TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
INHALATION
Prolonged and/or massive inhalation of respirable crystalline silica dust may cause lung fibrosis, commonly referred to as silicosis.
Principle symptoms of silicosis are cough and breathlessness. Occupational exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust should be
monitored and controlled.
INGESTION
May cause discomfort if swallowed. May cause stomach pain or vomiting.
SKIN CONTACT
Irritating to skin. May cause sensitisation by skin contact.
EYE CONTACT
Risk of serious damage to eyes. Contact with concentrated chemical may very rapidly cause severe eye damage, possibly loss of sight.
