Three new high performace systems for professional and multi-use floors
 Specifying sports hall floors
always involves balancing the demands of usage, cost and installation requirements. Many floors have to offer optimal conditions
for everything from basketball to ballroom dancing and it can be especially hard to strike the perfect balance between the demands
of professional and amatuer users.
Noew from Junckers are 3 new sports flooring systems which combine player safety with outstanding ball response, cost effectiveness
and ease of installation. The product of Junckers' high level R&D programmes, they represent state of the art technology, conforming
to BS7044, DIN18032 and the forthcoming EN standard.
Designed for both newbuilds and refurbishments, all 3 systems feature Junckers' new 2-step shock absorbancy system, combining soft rubber
for fast recovery and hard rubber for rapid ball response. Laminated spruce battens ensure strength and stability with uniform performance
across the whole floor and ENV fatigue tests demonstrate elasticity retention after 25 years of use.
The 3 new floors are UnoBAT 50, a single layer batten system with installation height of only 50mm. Ideal for renovations, it can be laid over
an existing level surface. UnoBAT 62+ shares the single layer construction but can be insatlled over un-even sub floors.
DuoBAT 110+ can also be levelled and has a double-batten system for optimum shock-absorbtion, resillience and ball bounce. This is Junckers'
ultimate high performance sports floor.
 Junckers made an
appearance at the Olympics, supplying an 1800sq m sports floor to the multi-purpose sports hall where volleyball teams practiced and
warmed up. Laid using Junckers' new DuoBAT 110+ system, the floor provides the optimal shock absorbtion and ball bounce which professional
sports players demand.
