Aquathane Primer/Sealer - Water
based polyurethane Primer/Sealer
USES
AQUATHANE PRIMER/SEALER is designed specifically for use on new or refurbished
wood floors where the desire is to retain the natural appearance of the wood.
This is particularly useful for woods such as White Oak, Ash, or clear grades
of Maple, Beech and other light hardwoods.
AQUATHANE PRIMER/SEALER is also recommended for minimizing grain
raising on open grained or porous wood, prior to application of Aquathane Super
or Aquathane Super Sport polyurethane finishes.
AQUATHANE PRIMER/SEALER offers the following advantages to the
specifier/user:
- Fast drying (approximately I hour)
- Low odour
- Reduces risk of shrinkage, cracking and rafting of
- new wood
- Easy to apply
DRYING TIME
Approximately 1 hour at 20 degree C room temperature 50% relative humidity
and good ventilation.
COVERAGE
10 - 12 square metres per litre approximately, depending on porosity of surface.
